JOHN KUENZLI, PGA
Head Golf Professional
John, a PGA Member since 1991 and a graduate of Ferris State University's Professional Golf Management Program, has held leadership roles such as Head Golf Professional, College Golf Coach, Director of Golf, and General Manager. His career spans top golf destinations in Michigan, Connecticut, New York, and Minnesota. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
Andrew Huizenga
Golf Professional
Andrew, a Holland native and Hamilton High School graduate, joined Macatawa Golf Club in 2023, bringing over a decade of experience in the golf industry. He studied Business at Davenport University and began his golf career at Ravines Golf Club, where he discovered his passion for the sport. Prior to joining Macatawa, Andrew honed his skills during a three-year tenure as a Golf Professional at Sunnybrook Country Club. Now a proud member of the RedWater team, Andrew is dedicated to enhancing the exceptional experience at Macatawa Golf Club.
Bret Yonker

Bret, a Zeeland native, combines a passion for the game with a strong background in business and leadership. A graduate of Davenport University where he studied business and finance. With a decade of experience in the golf industry, Bret began his golf career at Crestview Golf Course, where he quickly advanced into a management role. His experience spans golf operations, customer service excellence, and course management, all focused on delivering outstanding experiences for members and guests. Known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to the game, Bret is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and high-quality environment for every golfer.

Teaching Professional
Since joining Macatawa Golf Club in 2016, Troy has been dedicated to helping golfers of all skill levels achieve their goals. He incorporates advanced technology to provide tailored instruction and believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to the golf swing. Troy’s teaching philosophy focuses on helping each student discover the swing that best suits their unique abilities and skill level.
